Berber rugs and the patience that goes into making them have always fascinated me.
This sweet nostalgia made me want, as an adult , to unearth these artisanal pearls that rocked my childhood... to offer them on the other side of the Mediterranean .
ON THE ROAD TO BLED advocates the love of beauty and authenticity.
My mission: to find exceptional, high-quality Berber rugs using ancestral know-how.
They are hand-made, knot by knot, by women in the Berber mountains, where I come from.
Each rug is unique and has been made from scraps of fabric, sheep's wool and dyed with organic flower colors.
